What a great place packed to the gills with memorabilia. Whilst drinking a beer, drink in the past. Lynhams is well stocked with staff that make you feel at home. Covid19 compliant yet a Warm friendly. we well enjoyed the place.
Comfortable hotel and relaxing communal areas. The staff can't do enough for you here. If you need something just ask and they will bend over backwards to do what they can. The food portions are massive though, I couldn't finish them. I ended up eating tasty salads which are also very large but less filling.
Lovely place to stop in Laragh. Only issue was waitress tried to charge for coffee which was included with bacon sandwich. When I brought it to attention she fudged the issue I had to insist on looking at the menu and only when I pointed out her error did she change the bill. No acknowledgement of her mistake. So check your bill before you pay.
Spacious and clean rooms. Cool decor in the pub. The staff is very hospitable. Our windows opened out to the sounds of water flowing through rocks and birds chirping. Dinner was phenomenal: Haddock and scampi were a perfect way to end the night.
Very nice pub serving good food ! There's a lot of choice and everything we tried was delicious and generous. The staff was lovely, and we very much appreciated the little gig while drinking beers. Went only to eat and drink and we will definitely visit again !

I had the honour of bringing a couple of clients on a tour of wicklow. On our visit to Glendalough I decided to book Lynhams hotel for their lunch, first time booking it for private tour group. While my Clients were having lunch I, decided to pop my head into them and see how they were getting on. Well, let me tell you that the reviews I got, I thought I was in a 7 star hotel. So , I tried the food myself. OMG!! the menu is vast and delicious. Fantastic food at extremely keen prices with the service that exceeded all expectations. Thank you to the management and staff of the Lynhams hotel, Laragh. I will be recommending your hotel to all my clients on our Wicklow tours for lunch and dinner. 👍👍👍👍👍

Hand sanitizer was very watery when I used it, it went all over my hands and shirt, the picture of the bottle looked like it would of been a Gel, I was fine but just watch out for that...but The staff and food were lovely though, this is a 5 star review
Staying a Lynhams was a wonderful experience. The room was spotless and comfortable, the food was amazing with some beautiful sauces on the side. The outside area is so comfortable with beautiful views. Staff were so friendly and always ready to help. The Guinness 10/10. Proprietor was an amazing friendly lady who always has a smile for everyone . Will be back in august guys xx

Quick and friendly service, great COVID safety measures, and the Pulled Pork burger was delectable! I also greatly appreciated the fine print at the bottom of the menu: "All gratuities remain with staff." Hats off to management with principles! I will ABSOLUTELY return when I'm back in Wicklow, and highly suggest you stop here as well. Highly recommended, solid 5/5 stars!
Had a St Kevin's burger on the way back from hiking around glendalough. Absolutely perfect, really hit the spot. Staff very friendly too, would recommend.

Lynhams Hotel is beautifully situated within walking distance of historical Glendalough with safe secure walking trails and mountain trails for hikers. A river runs behind the hotel. We opened our window to the sound of the river rapids. It was just lovely. Room was spotless and bathroom was spotless.

Very friendly and competent staff, good choice on menu. I had seafood chowder and local cheese to follow, delicious. Live music on a Wednesday night sometimes, starts around 9.
Bartender was amazing, kept the kitchen open for us when we stumbled in exhausted after a hike. There was a breakout trad music session on a weeknight and everyone was having an amazing time! It's the only bar in town, so it was a great mix of locals and tourists.

Just to be clear, we didn't stay here! We ate and drank here. The food was good, we came back the day after! And the drinks (Guinness) were great as well!
Just stopped by to get some tea and something to eat. Was very nice atmosphere and old traditional interior, very cosy. The food is bistro type, so queue isn't a problem. 20 people got served in less than 10 min. Staff very polite and welcoming. Don't hesitate to go in and spend some €€, cause I bet it's so vital for such a rural place to stay afloat.

Great location, large comfy double rooms, right next to a fast-flowing river (rooms are double-glazed but you can still hear the river; not that it bothered me at all), good pub grub, lively pub atmosphere...oh, and an amazing massage chair. The only downside for me: wi-fi was only available in the hotel's lobby (3G was pretty strong in the area anyway). Would definitely visit again.

A wonderful little inn and pub in the hills of Wicklow. Staff here were all hospitable and helpful. Food was also good. Try the Guinness beef stew! Interior was decorated with hysterical and local things. Found it to be very homie. The outside has some nice spots yo go look at represented with the photos below. Great place to visit if heading to Glendalough lake and park like we did. Thanks!

Nice hotel, a bit out off style, but spirit very positive... Nice reception, bar with traditional Irish food and people. Walking distance to Glandelough lake... Very entertaining and nice weekend away from city...
Great Place with the best food in Town. Went there two days in a row and everything looked and tasted so good!
A simple cafe and all that is needed when you have trekked to laragh and it's surrounding scenery. I ordered an Americano, it was hot, and came in a cup. The cafe does be lively during the weekend from a combination of bikers and Lycra clad cyclists. I will dock them a star as they only take cash, no cards.
Staff very nice, service wonderful but Guinness stew was over salted and the waitress flippantly told us she would inform the chef. Disappointed
We have been visiting Lynhams for weekend breaks for the past few years and we love it there, The staff are great and so helpful. From the food to the bar and the breakfast to the lovely walks on your door step you will really enjoy it here. Highly recommend and thanks to the staff for being soo nice to us.

Wasn't a fan. We found the place, cold and dark when we were there. The smoke from the fire added a bit of atmosphere, but eventually got to be too much. It wasn't child friendly and the food wasn't great either.

I love Lynhams. Whenever I go for a hike up through the miners village in Glendalough I head straight here afterwards. Food is great, such a cosy setting and staff are great. I have had some great days in Wicklow and some good memories with some of my favourite people and Lynhams always reminds me of these.
Its a Cosy Irish pub/Hotel close to the Wicklow mountains and near The Glendalough beauty spot/ruined monastic site. Food was good. Cosy fire lively atmosphere.

Fantastic location. From the sounds of the river Glenmacnass flowing past very fast, to the interior, (the life-size Terminator statue in the lobby), were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was really good and enjoyable. They had a big carvery on with a varied selection With a good cappuccino to sip on.The welcoming burning fire nearby reminded us that it was indeed winter outside and this was a good place to stop by for something decent to eat for lunch.

We came here for Sunday lunch. It is basically an old fashioned pub, which I love about it, but staff could be friendlier (which I forgive them because it was busy). I do think the dishes are quite pricy. I had a veggie lasagne for about 15 euro and I got served a small portion of lasagne, along with fries and a side salad. I'd personally prefer more lasagne and no fries with it. Taste was good, but could have been better, certainly when taking in mind the price.

Aber der Rest :-) :-) Die Lage gut, es ist nicht weit von den Wanderwegen in Glendalough entfernt. Das Restaurant und die Bedienung sind perfekt, hätte mir nichts besseres vorstellen können. Durch den kostenlosen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür ist es sehr bequem mit dem großem Koffer. Die Zimmer sind altmodisch aber sauber und gepflegt. Ich hatte das Gefühl als wir das Hotel betreten haben, in der Zeit zurück gereist zu sein, was alles andere als negativ war!
